Internet Sales of Health Concerns Products
Health Concerns has always maintained the policy to sell only to licensed healthcare practitioners. It is only through the guidance of a qualified practitioner that our Health Concerns professional products can be utilized in a way that maximizes their safety and efficacy. Not only do we require our customers to validate their licensing but we also require all of our Distributors to verify the licensing of their customers.
Furthermore, we have never authorized the sale of Health Concerns products over the internet. We do not provide information or product support for any inquiries related to purchases from online sites but instead refer such inquiries to a practitioner.
Unfortunately, this is a very difficult problem to address as there is no overriding control for what can be sold on the internet. While we continually make attempts to contact and curtail activity on various e-commerce sites, there is no legal action that can be taken directly regarding the unauthorized sale of our products. Even pharmaceuticals find their way onto websites and they are controlled substances. However, we have been working with our Distributors and our legal counsel on a comprehensive set of internet sales policies which we hope will deter the great majority of the most flagrant e-commerce sites.
We do not recommend to anyone to purchase our products from these various e-commerce websites. We do recommend individuals seek out our products from a licensed health professional who can take a patient history to make a diagnosis and who will monitor their progress. As symptoms often change, dosage and formula indications may as well.
The problem, of course, is that there are licensed health care practitioners that purchase products and then provide them to operators of unauthorized websites. These websites do not disclose who is operating them and even their domain/url information is masked by nominees who list themselves as proxies. If we could, we would gladly forego any sales to these operators if we could just identify them.
The initiatives embodied in our internet sales policies will hopefully have a significant impact on the number of sites that promote these unauthorized sales. While we maintain an active list of such sites please do not hesitate to contact us with any information you may have regarding the open sale of our products on the internet.
